Job Titles

Residential Habilitation Trainer (RHT)

Oversee daily activities of the consumers and provide transportation for outings and activities in the community. Implementing training programs as prescribed in program plans. This position is responsible for the overall welfare and care of the consumers.

*Open 24 hours / Shift variety available* Mornings, Afternoon, Mid-day and Evening Shifts available.

Weekday Overnight (ONT)

Oversee morning activities of the consumers. This position is responsible for the overall welfare and care of the consumers. 10:30 p.m.– 8:30 a.m.

Weekend Overnight (Trainer)

Oversee morning activities of the consumers and the overall welfare and care of the consumers. Daily activities of the consumers and provide transportation for outings and activities in the community. Implementing training programs as prescribed in program plans. This position is responsible for the overall welfare and care of the consumers.

Friday 10:30 p.m. - Sunday 10:30 p.m.

Weekend Marathon RHT

Oversee daily activities of the consumers and provide transportation for outings and activities in the community. Implementing training programs as prescribed in program plans. This position is responsible for the overall welfare and care of the consumers.

Saturday 8 a.m. - Sunday 8 a.m.– 8 p.m.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 18 years of age
  • One year related experience preferred

Drug Free

  • Must pass background check/drug screening

Language and Reasoning Skills

  • Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • The ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and/or family members of the organization

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift more than 15 lbs.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • First aid/CPR
  • Driver license
  • Medication Training / Medication Administration
  • Behavior Management
  • Confidentiality and Abuse Training

Trainings — APD Required Courses

All Providers must comply with the APD Basic Required Trainings by completing: 1). Direct Care Core Competency (once), 2). Zero Tolerance (every three-years), and 3). APD HIPAA training (annually).
